LAKESHORE PROPERTY OWNERS : The ecology of many of our lakes is being stressed to the point of permanent damage as a result of excessive nutrient and sediment deposits, clear cutting and mowing and extensive shore and aquatic vegetation removal. As a custodian of lakeshore property the most beneficial thing you can do is to adhere to the DNR’s BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES and leave the shoreland as nature intended.
